Snow in June in Breckenridge, CO

Snowfall in June! That is typical – we usually get a few inches of snow in early June, and that’s usually the last snow until late September. We live just outside Breckenridge, Colorado. Our house is at an elevation of 10,700 feet above sea level. Fortunately, the snow melted within a day.

Breckenridge Snow Banks

My house still has tons of snow, in late March 2010! Video was taken 3/28/2010, and uploaded directly to YouTube, with my new iPhone 3GS! Love that thing.

We live just outside Breckenridge, Colorado. Our house is at an elevation of 10,700 feet above sea level. This is probably about the maximum height of snow for the season — going forward, it will start melting faster than new snowfall accumulates. Spring, here we come!
