Breckenridge in the middle of Summer

Typically we are extremely busy in the summer for buyers purchasing their second home or investment properties in Breckenridge. This summer is no different. In fact, our inventory is low and currently I have more buyers than active listings to choose from. What a great problem to have if you compare it to previous years. Also, Breckenridge is the most crowded I have ever seen this time of year. People are discovering that Breckenridge is a full year round destination. Our summers are extraordinary. We have added the Pro Bike Challenge which can bring up to 100,000 people to witness what is our “Tour de France” also we have an Art Festival with a new Art District here in Breckenridge and it has proven to be a real attraction. We even had the “Cirque Du Soleil” folks come and perform. So don’t forget we are not just a skiing town but all year fun. Oh hey, by the way if you want to sell any property in Breckenridge you know who to call.

Hope you can come to the party! And just so you know, the Breckenridge real estate market is continuing to heat up. The number of sales is about 7% above last year, but the average selling prices are about 10% higher than last year. We are seeing some multiple offers and competing buyers. And some segments of our market, such as homes between $1 million and $2.5 million, are selling better than in the past 7 years. Yet, our prices are still well below the peak prices of late 2007. So, it’s a great time to buy!If you’re enjoying our emails, fantastic. But if not, just click the Unsubscribe button, and you’ll be removed from our list immediately.

family-activities-breckenridgeBreckenridge, Colorado is a place that the whole family will love! That time of year is almost here when you get to plan a fun-filled vacation for your family (don’t worry, I will give you the best places here)! This is one place that everyone will love and it is worth the trip as there are so many fun summer activities to choose from. Everyone will be satisfied and you can have a fulfilling and restful vacation, as there is such a variety. Not to mention the natural beauty of the land, Breckenridge is a vacation place that will leave you breathless. (Don’t forget the extra oxygen!)

Something for everyone!

A great way to start out your vacation is with the 4X4 truck tour. Pack your family into the open air vehicle which will fit up to 7 people and get ready for an adventurous safari ride! Explore and see an overview of the area which will have everyone oohing and ahhing over the beautiful natural scenery around them and jumping for joy when they catch sight of the wildlife in the area, which includes red foxes, bears, moose, porcupines, bighorn sheep, and golden eagles. Other ways to explore the beauty of the area include hiking, mountain biking (bike rentals available) or scenic lift rides for an aerial view that competes with the eagles. There are a variety of levels of hiking and biking trails which treat you to the doubly beautiful combination of the Rocky Mountain views and the radiant Colorado sunshine.
